Dear Friends in Christ,

Welcome to Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Catholic Church, Oyarifa-Accra, Ghana. As the Priest In-Charge, I am delighted to welcome all of you to our dedicated faith community.

Thank you very much for being part of this family of vibrant and dynamic people. We serve thousands of people in the Oyarifa-Teiman-Ghana Flag-Owusu Ansah-Gravel Pit and their environs who come to us each day, to deepen their faith and love for God and encounter Christ in the Sacraments of the Church.

Our Church community celebrates 30 years of Catholicism in the neighbourhood in 2025. Series of activities have been lined up which will be climaxed with the visit of the Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra, Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie, C.S.Sp. on Sunday, 10th August 2025.

We have three Masses each Sunday, two for adults at 6:30 am and 9:00 am and one for children at 7:00 am.; and weekday Masses on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursday at 6:00 am, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:00 pm and Saturdays at 6:30 am. There are opportunities for adoration and private prayers and confessions on regular basis.

We welcome all who come to this serene place of hospitality, peace, and joy. We are a family of rich diversity of people, ethnic groups and cultures which is made up of children, youth, adults and the elderly. We also have various societies and groups which offer a welcome home to all who wish to belong and celebrate life events. Our diversity is a blessing and provides a united ambience for all. We respect individual talents and gifts and offer opportunities to all to develop and use their God-given charisms for the service of God, Church and humankind.
